FFeelabit Privacy Policy

Feelabit ("we", "our", "the app") is a private check-in app for couples. This privacy policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Information We Collect

Account information

• Email address (used for sign-in and password recovery)

• A randomly generated user ID

Pairing information

• An invite code linking you to one partner

• Invite codes expire 7 days after generation and become invalid after pairing

Check-in content

• Your energy level selections, emotion tags, and any notes you write

• Timestamps of your check-ins

• Reactions and nudges you send

Technical information

• A push notification token from Google (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver notifications

• Basic crash reports (via Sentry) to help us fix bugs

Avatar photos

• If you choose to upload an avatar photo, it's stored in our cloud storage in a folder identified by your account ID.

• Avatar URLs are publicly addressable so your paired partner can view them, but the URLs include your account ID and are not publicly searchable or indexed.

• You can remove or replace your avatar at any time from the app's Settings.

How We Use Your Information

We use your data solely to operate the app:

• Authenticate you and your partner

• Sync your check-ins between the two of you

• Send notifications you've opted into

• Improve app reliability by analyzing anonymized crash reports

We do not sell, rent, or share your data with advertisers or third parties.

Who Can See Your Check-ins

Only you and your paired partner can read your check-ins. We do not display your data publicly or to other users.

How We Protect Your Data

• All data in transit is encrypted with HTTPS / TLS

• Authentication tokens are stored in your device's secure storage (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore)

• Database access is governed by row-level security so users can only access their own data and data shared by their paired partner

• Sensitive operations (account deletion, partner pairing) are protected by server-side authorization checks

• The app blocks screenshots and screen recording on Android to keep your check-ins private even on shared devices

Service Providers

We rely on a small set of vendors to operate the app:

• Supabase — stores your account and check-in data (encrypted in transit and at rest)

• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging — delivers push notifications

• Sentry — collects anonymized crash diagnostics (no email, no personal content)

These providers are bound by their own privacy commitments and process data only on our behalf.

Data Retention & Deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:

• In-app: Settings → Delete Account

• Or email: sun@youmightfindit.com

We will delete your data within 30 days of confirming your request. Account deletion removes your profile, check-in history, notes, reactions, avatar photos, and unpairs you from your partner. Your partner's account is not affected.

Children

Feelabit is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you in the app or via email.
